WRONG/ZOMBIE
Finnigan
Productions presents a special summer double feature of
two original plays, WRONG/ZOMBIE, running August 6, 7,
8, 13, 14 & 15 at 7:30pm at The Rudyard Kipling, located
at 422 W. Oak Street in Old Louisville.
WRONG/ZOMBIE is the third and final production in
Finnigan’s fifth season in Louisville.
WRONG is a collection of short and fiery politically
incorrect and irreverent sketches written by Finnigan
company member Sarah East and directed by Brian Walker.
Sketches include Ralph the Closet Bulimic, Grandma Won’t
Die, Slumber Party Massacre, Bortion Cookies and The
Escalator Plays.
ZOMBIE is a new black comedy horror play about
brain-eating zombies, the end of the world as we know it
and the importance of family. Written by Brian Walker
and directed by Finnigan veteran Gil Reyes. ZOMBIE
tells the story of Rebecca and Hank Watkins; held up on
their family farm awaiting the end of the spread of the
Z-virus plague and the cure which has been promised by
the government. There are brain-eating zombies roaming
the property and their son already infected chained up
in the backyard. It’s a really bad time to be a human
being and Rebecca is forced to make some difficult
decisions to keep her family together.
Ms. East’s most recent local stage appearances include
Finnigan’s Festival of Funky Fresh Fun, dirty sexy derby
play and work with sketch comedy group The Indicators.
She can also be seen as lead anchor on the Internet
entertainment show, Pop Crunch.
Walker is the artistic director of Finnigan Productions
and his previous writing credits include The Time I was
Kidnapped by the Church, Smoke This Play, Great American
Sex Play, my daddy’s name is Big Oil, Shot me Down and
Dirty Sexy Derby Play.
Mr. Reyes directed over 30 stage productions including
Valparaiso, Great American Sex Play, and a recent
Broadway production of The Rocky Horror Show, as a
benefit for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. He is also a
founding member of The Theatre Alliance of Louisville.
The cast of WRONG/ZOMBIE includes Susan Linville as
Rebecca Watkins, Tad Chitwood, Corey Long, Amy Lewis,
Todd Zeigler, Kelly Kapp, Sarah East, Briana Clemerson,
Michael Roberts, George Robert Bailey, Amanda Fulkerson,
Taylor Milks, Kirsten Merritt, Derek Carpenter, Kate
Barry, Laura Ellis, Kimberly Peterson, Chris Petty and
Anthony Survance.

WRONG/ZOMBIE was written and conceived by adults for
adults and due to mature language and violent scenes it
is not recommended for anyone under the age of
